§ 4g of the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz - BDSG) provides that a data protection officer must make the following information, which is required by § 4e, available to all persons in a suitable manner:

Purpose of the Data Collection, Data Processing and Data Use
As an international group active in the areas of trade, production, oleochemicals and shipping, CREMER has companies on all continents. CREMER is an international specialist for trade, processing and transportation of commodities and raw materials as well as oleochemical products.
Data is collected, processed and used for fulfilling these purposes.
Data Subjects and the Data or Categories of Data Relating to Them
Customer data, employee data and data from suppliers to the extent that same are necessary for fulfilling the above-mentioned purposes.
Recipients or Categories of Recipient to Whom the Data might be Disclosed
Public authorities if so required by overriding legal provisions, external data processors in accordance with § 11 of the Federal Data Protection Act as well as external bodies, internal departments and affiliated enterprises of CREMER (within the EU / Germany) in order to fulfill the above-mentioned purposes.
Normal Periods for Deletion of Data
The legislature has enacted various provisions on duties of retention and periods ofretention. After these periods have expired, the data concerned is routinely deleted. Any data which is not covered by such provisions will be deleted when the purposes for which it was obtained are fulfilled.
Transfer of Data to Third Countries
As a rule, no data is currently transferred to third countries; should this occur, the necessary legal preconditions will be established.
By way of exception, data is transferred if this is necessary in order to communicate with a contractual partner or if it requests this or if necessary in order to perform a contract.
